14 Sep Five Years of GIS Expertise: Rhea Smith

Behind many of T&B Planning’s projects are maps, spatial analyses, and graphics that help turn complex information into clear planning decisions. For the past five years, GIS Analyst Rhea Smith has played an important role in bringing that information together.

Rhea joined T&B Planning five years ago and has since contributed her GIS and graphic design expertise to projects across the firm’s Planning and Environmental disciplines. Her work includes land use and zoning overlays, environmental constraints mapping, aerial imagery analysis, and spatial data supporting California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents and entitlement submittals.

Her ability to translate technical data into accessible visuals helps project teams evaluate site conditions, communicate findings, and support the planning and approval process.

Along with her technical expertise, Rhea brings creativity, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to her work. Her contributions extend across the firm, supporting colleagues and helping present complex project information in a clear, effective way.

As Rhea marks her fifth anniversary, we recognize the talent and dedication she brings to T&B Planning.
