This month, T&B Planning celebrates an important milestone as David Ornelas marks 20 years with the firm.

David is a trusted leader in environmental planning and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, helping guide complex projects through environmental review and the entitlement process toward approval.

With more than 20 years of CEQA compliance experience, David has worked across industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, parcel delivery, and residential infill development. He has particular expertise in projects supporting California’s goods movement and supply chain sector. His experience also includes land entitlement projects and ensuring that conditions of approval align with environmental compliance requirements and CEQA mitigation measures.

David’s approach to his work represents an important part of T&B Planning’s commitment to providing clients with direct access to senior-level expertise. He is measured and strategic in his decision-making, taking the time to understand the details that can influence a project’s path forward. His combination of patience, technical knowledge, and attention to detail helps clients navigate complex environmental requirements while continuing to move projects toward practical outcomes.
