This month, we’re proud to celebrate a significant milestone: Emilie Colwell’s 10-year anniversary with T&B Planning.

Over the past decade, Emilie has made a lasting impact at the firm, growing from an entry-level analyst into her current role as Senior Project Manager. Her journey reflects not only professional development but also a deep commitment to advancing the planning field as a whole. While working full-time, Emilie earned her Master of Urban Planning degree from the USC Price School of Public Policy and now serves as Chairwoman of the San Diego BIA’s Young Leaders Council (Y|Gen), a role that underscores her forward-thinking approach and leadership in the industry.

At T&B Planning, Emilie supports our clients through project entitlements, CEQA compliance, and pre-construction permitting. She’s contributed to a wide range of project types—from residential to industrial and everything in between—always bringing a calm, reliable presence and an exceptional attention to detail.
