In-N-Out Burger selected T&B Planning to assist with entitlements and CEQA compliance to move its distribution facility from Baldwin Park to a new, modern facility in the City of Chino. T&B Planning prepared an Addendum to the Altitude Business Centre EIR (previously prepared by T&B Planning for another project applicant) and managed entitlements and preparation of required technical studies. The project entailed construction of the new In-N-Out Burger distribution center and five ancillary structures consisting of a fleet maintenance building, a sharehouse/cookout building, a utility building, and two guardhouses. The project’s entitlement required a Site Approval Modification and a Special Conditional Use Permit Modification. The In-N-Out Burger Distribution Center in Chino is now open and serves as the distribution center for many southern California In-N-Out locations. Operations include food delivery and storage, office space, parking for catering “cookout” trucks, and processing of the famous burger sauce.
