Approval Clears the Way for New Community in Menifee

T&B Planning is pleased to announce that the Cantalena project by Richland Communities received a unanimous 5-0 vote of approval from the Menifee Planning Commission on May 14, 2025 — a key milestone in delivering a new residential neighborhood that reflects both community goals and thoughtful planning.

The approval covers a design modification to Planning Areas 2, 3, and 7 of the Cantalena Specific Plan, as well as two Tract Maps and a Plot Plan. In total, the update paves the way for the development of 394 homes across nearly 45 acres.

Future residents can look forward to a balanced mix of traditional single-family homes and single-family cluster homes, thoughtfully integrated with parks, paseo connections, and shared amenities that foster connection and support walkable living.

T&B Planning led the entitlement process from start to finish, collaborating closely with the City of Menifee and project team to ensure the plan supported long-term infrastructure needs, met local expectations, and delivered a cohesive vision for the city’s continued growth.

We’re proud to support projects that contribute to the vitality of the cities we serve, and grateful to the Planning Commission, City staff, and our partners for helping move this project forward with broad support.
